Aquaplaning defense

Deeper grooves in the tyre tread allow the Winter Sport 5 to evacuate larger quantities of water and slush, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and helping you maintain control on wet roads.

Fuel efficiency

Kraftstoffeffizienz ist ein Maß für den Rollwiderstand des Reifens. Ein Reifen mit geringem Rollwiderstand ist kraftstoffeffizient, da er weniger Energie zum Rollen benötigt. Die Kraftstoffeffizienz wird von A (höchste Bewertung) bis E (niedrigste Bewertung) eingestuft.

Wet grip

Der Grip bei Nässe misst die Bremsfähigkeit des Reifens auf nassem Untergrund. Der Grip bei Nässe wird von A (kürzester Bremsweg) bis E (längster Bremsweg) eingestuft.

Exterior noise

Misst die Geräuschentwicklung des Reifens außerhalb des Fahrzeugs in Dezibel. Die Geräuschklasse wird von A (leise) bis C (laut) eingestuft.

Snow Grip

Reifen mit 3PMSF-Piktogramm (Three-Peak Mountain Snow Flake, also eine Schneeflocke in einem Berg mit drei Gipfeln) haben kürzere Bremswege auf schneebedeckten Straßen, was für Ihre Sicherheit bei Schneebedingungen unerlässlich ist. Für Personenkraftwagen wird das Piktogramm über eine Messung des Bremsabstands des Fahrzeugs ab 25 km/h auf verdichtetem Schnee oder durch die Messung der Haftung eines Reifens gewährt. Für LKW wird das Piktogramm über eine Messung der Beschleunigungsleistung eines Reifens gewährt.
